You do not need an account to read Docket & Device. We do not use advertising pixels, session replay, or persistent visitor identifiers.

Messages and tips

When you submit an available contact or tip form, we collect your email address, any name you provide, your message, and your consent. Tips may also include a tool name and source link. Sprigpost processes these submissions for editorial review and records the submission time, originating page, and consent version. Request information may be used to prevent abuse. Submitting a tip does not publish it or subscribe you to email.

The Dispatch

Newsletter signup requires consent and email confirmation when available. Each newsletter will include an unsubscribe link. Contact messages and tips do not opt you in.

Audience measurement

The site uses cookieless page-view counts through Sprigpost. It records page paths without query strings, referrers, or visitor identifiers and respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Automated crawler requests are measured separately and are not evidence of unique readers, indexing, or AI citations.

Your choices

Use the contact form to request access to, correction of, or deletion of a submission. Include the email address you used. Records are kept for editorial handling and necessary consent and abuse-prevention records; no fixed automatic deletion period is promised.

Service providers

Cloudflare hosts the publication. Sprigpost handles managed content and submissions. Resend provides email delivery when a verified sender is configured.
